Cap 1 Max CL

So i was browsing the threads and noticed someone saying the max limit for a limited credit card with cap1 is 3k, can you get a CL higher as your score gets better?

Like what would happen if i were to apply for their limited CC and should have applied for their excellent CC would i get a better limit?

I'm probably not addressing your question properly as I am unsure what version/versions of Cap1 credit cards are considered "limited" but I was recently approved for a new Cap1 GM World Elite MC with a $5k limit which I immediately requested to have increased to at least $7k.  Took them 2 days to respond but was approved for the increase with no additional questions.

if you hit the limit you can always call the eo and ask for a product change to better product if scores permit (iirc 3k is on the average credit tier,excellent credit tieris 20-30k)

So my boyfriend has the Cap1 QS but its the MC, he was wondering is it possible to get over the 3k limit with that card? Or would he have to contact the EO? Also is it possible to remove the AF forever on it? Because i asked if they could switch to the visa and they said they cant change a MC to a Visa or vice versa.

My Cap1 Quicksilver is a MC $3500CL. Mine never had the AF. I have seen many people get the AF removed permanently.  I believe the best route is EO.

I product changed mine through Facebook and they accelerated to the EO.

FWIW, my CL on my Cap1 Venture is $10.5k.
