Cap One EO Finally Waived AF (in shock)

Well the impossible is possible. The Cap One card I've had since 2001 with the same $500 limit and same $5 monthly fee got luv buttoned to $1500 last week.

Then I knew they would not waive the annual fee since they never have so I emailed the EO just so they could tell me no just so I could close the card.

They called today and told me they were permanently waiving the AF and refunding me the fee for this year. Man. Now I have no good reason to close the card. Don't know whether to laugh or cry.

Don't cry.. It is a good thing.  Congrats.  I will say this, CAP 1 seems to be trying these days when it comes to pleasing their customers and they don't get a lot of credit for it.
