Cap One Quicksilver?

Has this card just replaced teh Cash Rewards card?  I don't remember seeing it before, and I don't see the cash rewards card.  Rather than 1% cashback with a .5% bonus at the end of the year, this one just has a 1.5% cashback reward.  Other than that it's pretty much the same.

Just took a look the green cash rewards card is missing ...will have to compare

Same card different packaging instead of 50% bonus yearly its 1.5 on everything

Same cards 1 for excellent credit 1 for average credit....

different color and marketing IMO

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

The card looks like it is metal (either that...or a simple design) I like it.

Edit: I may put this on my list to app sometime next year when more inqs fall off (especially since Capital One likes to triple pull. I think it will depend if I get a nice offer on it.

It looks like you can personalize it with an image.  I'm guessing that means it's just plastic.

I noticed that on second look. It would probably look better if it were metal.

Re: Cap One Quicksilver?

I see that they have a Quicksilver for Excellent Credit and one for Average Credit. I'm really liking the 1.5% cash back and the 0% apr introductory period. Was this the same for the Cash Rewards?

Re: Cap One Quicksilver?

I wonder if Cap1 will automatically convert current Cash Reward card holder's over to this new card or does one have to call and request the conversion? B/c, personally i perfer this new rewards structure & CC design, for the green card looks and feels like 50% plastic/50% recycled paper!

I was going to ask the same question! Bummer! I'm new to Capital One because I just got the Cash Rewards card last month! This card sounds much better! I wonder if it's too soon to PC to this card?? However, I did get rid of the green card and customized the photo within a few days of having it! It was visual assault to look at that green card ha Smiley Happy

Typically you have to call in to request the one product. It is considered a different card.
