Cap One rate reduction

Just for fun I chatted Cap One. Currently carrying a 0% balance. Ased for a rate reduction (as this card has my highest rate). Went from 23.65% purchase APR to 19.65%. Neat. One little success to brag about

Thats fantastic!. Is this permanent? I thought i read that Cap One doesnt permanently lower apr on temp. Could be wrong though.Enjoy

No perm and "can" change after 7 months. we will see if it does?

Congrats on the promo rate, but this isn't new... they've been offering temporary reductions for a while now.

I'm still hoping at some point they'll start offering permanent reductions, especially since they seem to be tightening up with approvals and CLIs (at least for some people).
