hi all,

how long after having a cap one secured card did you apply for cap one unsecured card? Were you approved?

1.5 months

Yes... For two QS1 cards. $500 SL. App'd after prequalified through Cap 1 website.

23 Open Bank Cards / 7 Open Store Cards / TOO many inquires / Mid/High 600's

About 2.5 months. Also a $500 SL.

18 months. And yes I was approved. Credit score went up from 500 to 602.

Some have applied the same day of being approved for their secured card and been approved for the QS1. It all depends

I cant get an answer from the prequalify site. I keep getting:

"We couldn't match your records to a card offer.
But based on your answers, we think you might like this card."

I have had the secured card for 2 months now.
