At 1 point I had gotton a auto love of 400 on my Sony Visa and 4 months go by I hit the love button and denied. After 1 week I hit it again and got a 3K bump.
Maybe it was because it's a co branded I don't know. However my experience with regular Cap1 cards has been 6 months in between the bump.
Interesting that my Sony limit now is 5.65K.....And I've not seen any1 with over 5K on Sony......Just sayin'
My sony card is at 10k but that was what it was approved at.
As a data point, I hit the button back in December for each of my Quicksilver cards, and I got an additional $1k on each of them. My last CLI on the Quicksilver Visa was $2k, but that was after substantial usage (and PIF).
I had very little usage on the Quicksilver MasterCard, and spent July-October paying off a $3k 0% balance on the Quicksilver Visa, but no new usage. During the time I put the charges on the Visa, I was granted a $2k CLI, even though I wasn't PIF (again, due to the 0% promo).
I'm not sure exactly how they reason who gets a CLI (and how much), but I know they factor stuff in other than score.
Cap 1 seriously needs to get their $4!+ together!!!
Between the BS about whom and why they give out CLIs to and the whole account combination fiasco, they're just not worth the hassle of dealing with.
Too many aggravations and not anywhere near worth the effort.
I'm kind of amazed Sam L Jackson does commercials for them. He seems like such a stand up guy!!!

Cool........congrats,
BTW, just received an email on Sony Visa's chip registered card with new design.
Really digging the new look.....
same here i had been requesting a cli on my quicklsilver for almost a year. this past month i charged everything i could to it, bringing the balance up to about 4k then payed about 3k of it when the statement cut. requested the cli and got a 2k increase. So ive noticed with cap one they wanna see high usage and large payments, in my experience

Funny, I did pretty much almost the exact same thing maybe 6 weeks ago or so. I did a BT to my QS of about $4800, which almost maxed it out as it's got a 5k limit.
Paid it all off about a month later. Tried for a CLI. Got my usual message about the card not getting enough usage or whatever it was. Before that though I'd only been putting a few hundred a month on it.
The card itself is only about 8 months old though. But I do recall seeing others get CLIs in less time.
Where exactly is this highly sought after luv button? All I see is "Ask For Credit Increase" under more options, and then you have to fill out info. I don't see a button.
