Not sure if this info has been posted or not, but now I know it is
I was perusing cap1's facebook page and saw a post asking about EMV, the CSR responded that cap1 is already rolling out EMV cards, and they expect all their cardmembers to have EMV cards by the end of 2015.
Fun fact of the night.

Well, that should make that no FTF on all cards come in handy
Cap One has issued chip&pin cards in the UK for many years (and probably Canada too) so they certainly know how to do it! Same for the other international banks, so presumably a question of cost and acceptance by merchants and consumers.
Not sure about which it will be (chip+pin or chip+sig) but if you ever need entertainment, read the cap1 fb page posts....Half of them are customers just saying "OMG I HATE YOU WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER" and the other half are "OMG I LOVE CAP1 BEST COMPANY EVER"
Apparently one person lost a pandora bracelet, and cap1 just sent them a brand new one....

I liked cap1 for the cashback since it was instant but their cust. service pushed me too far so i have banished them to my SD.
They posted on their FAQs that it will be chip and signature. With USAA changing policies, United Nations Federal Credit Union remains the only Chip and Pin with PIN as first priority issuer in the US that is currently taking applications. Anyone can now join by being a member of UN-USA for $25.

If only the UNFC had a better rewards program, would be a great choice. But $49 AF for 4 free Lounge Club visits seems reasonable, or are there other ways of getting that?
