This letter serves as a follow up to your request for a credit limit on
the above-referenced account. Please allow me to confirm the actions
taken on the above-referenced account.

After review, we were able to increase the credit limit on the account
to $5,000.00, effective immediately. We also added a miles-based
rewards program, in which you earn 1 mile for each dollar spent on net
purchases. We thank you for choosing Capital One.

Emailed EO Sunday and got a call this afternoon.  Hopefully I'll get a positive outcome.

It was a $750 credit steps card. As far as tips go I would say be nice. LOL Don't tell them if you don't get it you'll close the card. Use things like "You gave me a chance when no one else would and I appreciate it, want to maintain a relationship" I also mentioned I work overseas and I like the no FTF on their cards. You could maybe work in international travel. Also my scores are quite a bit higher than they were so that probably helped me out. I probably could have gotten more but I figured a jump up to $5k was a big jump, why be greedy when I have a 6 month CLI coming up with Amex this month.

And he did mention it would be a SP, and it was.
