They have upgraded my starter card over the
8 years and give me rewards. I actually make money
on this card if I pif.
I checked my account and saw that they are giving me points. I'm at 214. Not much collecting I can do with a $750 credit line. But I do appreciate the fact I don't have to pay an AF.
I've been doing pretty well with a $500 credit line. I've been using the card for almost all of my regular, expected purchases: gas, groceries, holiday shopping, utility bills, car insurance, etc. The bottom line is that it's taken the place of using my debit card. But, with such a small credit line, I PIF several times a month. Thank goodness for online account access, otherwise I wouldn't be able to do this. I wind up paying at least twice a week. Admittedly, I will be glad to get a CLI, as it will give me a little more "elbow room" with my expenditures. I still plan on using it only for purchases I would normally be making and can afford to PIF, but with a higher CL I'll be able to get down to paying in full only once a week, and eventually maybe bi-monthly. Frankly, though, once a week would work quite well for me, so I might just continue doing that.
I have a PenFed, Discover and AMEX card that gets the majority of my business. There's nothing I can do with points. I need cash back!
I use the card if I can pif since they are so erratic. started
with 300 now over 5000 with rewards but upped interest to 17.4.
If I want to charge something that
i don't pif I use credit union.
Have asked for 2 clis which they refused. They said
I don't look I need more credit as I don't use what I've got.
