WMC = World Mastercard

WEMC = World Elite Mastercard

The benefits are Mastercard-specific.  Many of them focused on travel.  There are some slight differences between the 2, but long story short, WEMC offers the highest level of travel perks.  I believe the Mastercard site outlines what is and isn't offered between the 2 tiers.
