Discover IT is supposedly their new lax-underwriting card. Like what Freedom is to Chase or Zync is to AMEX.

You still have to have a decent file to get in with Chase, AMEX etc. Some do slip through the cracks, but not alot.

Very nice, alot of us would have dumped Capital One in a heart beat if it wasn't for it being our longest running card.  Clearly Discover is where the business is at.

I'd keep it simply b/c its VISA or Mastercard. I went to the movies today only to find out they don't accept Discover...ugh. Had to use my Cap1 Visa

Did you apply for cash rewards mastercard or visa. Visa is a prime card , MC version is their subprime version.
