Cap1's account consolidation feature has been popular when it works. There are some members here that have combined their limits to $50K+. I think this will be my path to a very high limit card. I'm going to try to keep combining every 6 months and then apply for 1-2 new cards to take their place. Combine and repeat. I've never expected Cap1 cards to have $50K+ limits but it looks like that can happen. Does anyone know what their maximum exposure is?
Its different for everyone, for example I believe FinStar has over 100k exposure with them while 12njoy has about 50k I think its what your income is + what your credit profile qualifies for.
Does anyone here have equal or greater their annual income in credit limits with Capital One? I'm about $10K short which would fit another Venture One in perfectly...haha.
You guys that are getting multiple Cap One CC's, once you get another one, how soon are you combining the accounts to a larger CL?
The account has to be open for 6 months before you can combine them.
Oh okay thanks! Good to know.
