CapOne only offers combine and close?

I was thinking of moving over about 10k from my Venture over to my Quicksilver but all I'm seeing is the option to combine and close. Has anyone had any luck with just moving over some of the limit to another card? My venture is only about 6 months old, didn't want to close it until right before the year mark.

Haven't heard of it being possible. I believe it's all or nothing, and that the donor card will be closed. Someone who's actually done this can chime in but I haven't heard of partial moving/keeping the donor account open.

This is true all or nothing

It's all or nothing. You have to close out other card.
