CapOne problems and new AMEX?

I tried to get CapOne to raise my limit ($1250) and they refused AGAIN even though both Chase and AMEX find me credit worthy enough. If it wasn't my oldest account I would definitely close it. I cannot stand them.

So I was considering going for an AMEX charge or asking Chase if they can raise my Freedom limit to $3000 since I'm only at $1000 and have a $5000 Sapphire. Do you think I'll have any luck? I have no balances right now. I've been with Chase for a year and AMEX for five months.

Score is ~724 from when Discover pulled my score for my student loan a few months back. Credit Karma always tells me I'm under 700, though. :/

Other CCs: $2.5k American Eagle Visa, $2.2k Old Navy Visa, $1.7k Amazon Store; $1.55k BillMeLater; $800 B&N CC; $750 A&F CC

Re: CapOne problems and new AMEX?

I just don't understand Capital One. As far as Chase is concerned, it's worth a shot. They will likely do a hard pull, though. There is never a way to give a "sure" answer in these situations. Good Luck!

Meg.
