I just realized the Capital One Rewards card I've had since March has 0% listed as it's APR!!!
This card only has a $750 limit and I don't remember them offering me a grace period of 0% interest------- anyone else have this happen to them?? I'm thrilled, but am certainly not going to point it out them!
More than likely 0% intro rate after a certain amount of time your normal APR kicks in. Right now on the web site is 0% APR until March 2012.
oohhh.. if that's the case, then mine is about to expire
thanks for the head's up!
There are 4-5 cards that offer 0% interest for the first year and you're charged an annual fee. Then there are the cards with interest since day one but no annual fee.... Thats just generally though.
Cap One Cash Rewards has 0% APR till Oct 2012 and no annual fee, plus 50% bonus cash back on rewards every year. I did a balance transfer to this card and am able to save $500 in interest.
I noticed this happened to my "No Hassles" card too! I have the $39AF. I went back through my statements and saw that I had an APR when I first got it but the last two or so months have been 0%. Weird, especially since they never notified me that they are at least temporarily giving me 0% APR.
all of the capital one cards that charge a $39 annual fee give you free interest for the first year. unless you have an older card.
if these last couple of months they gave you no interest were you in a zone affected by any natural disasters recently? IE any of the earthquakes, storms, blizzards ETC.
They were automatically giving no interest for the month for cities that were recently affected by natural disasters as a courtesy.... (don't tell anyone i said that lol)
That's interesting. Good to know.
i know the 1 yr no interest is what I currently have on the $39 AF card.

I have their No Hassle Cash Rewards $500 CL 0% APR until April 2012. Sweet deal. Get a CLI in 5 months. Thinking about apping for a unsecured Cap1 platunum once this collection comes off.
