OP, did your limit start at 3k, higher than 3k, or lower than 3k? If it's under 1k starting, it's a lost cause.

My limit three years ago started at $500.  Currently, it is at $10,000.

If Capital One gave you a $25k CL you wouldn't have much time to use the card anyway, because this is the seventh sign of the apocalypse.
