I was wondering if anyone else had a similar experience with Capital One EO. I emailed them about increasing my credit limit and got a call back I answered all of the basic questions they asked and he sent it to manual review. I then received another call back stating that they could not proceed any further because my Equifax was blocked or something to that effect, I did not do anything personally to my equifax what does this mean and how can i fix it?
I had this exact same thing happen. Just call EO back and tell them you don't have any frozen reports. She looked into it for me and came back and everything was fine (I did nothing). Not sure why this happens.
thanks for the quick response, do you think it is worth my time or that they just don't want to do an increase?

No problem, and to be honest I'm not a huge fan of Cap1 so I'd say they don't want to do the increase...in reality I think its some sort of glitch on their end (even more so now that I've seen a 2nd person with the same issue). For me when it was all said and done (over a weeks worth of effort) the $500 increase I got after being with them 3 years wasnt worth my time at all. Ended up closing both my Cap1 cards shortly after.
Thanks for the input @PlasticorPlastic, I beleive I am not going to persue it at this time. I will try again when my profile looks a little better or maybe do like you did and fire Capital One eventually

To be honest, I wouldn't expect much more than 500-750 increase if you do pursue it, might be better to wait if you dont need the increase for anything specific. I'd also add a Discover card to your collection, their CLI process is painless and puts Cap1 to shame. Just a suggestion
I am going to try for Discover next year I have an overabundant amount of hard inquiries unfortunately I was over zealous in trying to obtain a decent credit card. I beleive my scores are a LITTLE more respectable now and I only have a collection account for $100.00 on TU and EX and only a almost 2 year old CO on EQ, Ex and TU. I am working on it but I have to learn to be patient
