Capital One(HSBC)

Can someone tell me which credit reporting agency Capital One or HSBC use? When applied for a cc they gave me a credit score that was higher than what myfico is showing me

Cap One typically pulls all three reports, but on their letter, they usually tell you which of the three's score they used.

If it's higher than what myFico is showing you, I would say a different TU fico model or an EX score

I remember HSBC using some kind of internal scoring method before Cap One took over, maybe it's one of those?

Do you remember the scale they were using?

When I was approved for the Cap1 Best Buy card, they sent me a TU score, which was not the version that fico uses. I know they pulled all three but they only gave me Transunion.
