Hi everyone! This is actually my very first time starting a thread, and I just wanted to share some exciting news. I've had the Journey Student Rewards card since October of 2015 with a $500 credit limit, and decided to try and get a converstion to the Quicksilver Rewards after reading about it somewhere. I believe you get 20% off of Uber rides. I take Uber everywhere so I thought the Quicksilver would be perfect. I called over the phone and something strange happened. A rep told me that I already had the Quicksilver card. I asked her if she was sure, and she said yes. I thanked her and hung up and decided to try over chat to see if I got the same response. The man over chat told me that there was an offer vailable to convert to the Quicksilver with no annual fee. He transferred the chat to a "specialist" and the conversion was simple, quick, and painless. I'm pretty happy with Cap 1. Now, all I need is a credit line increase. My highest credit line is with Barclaycard's Apple Rewards for $2000.
Congrats!!
Way to go!
My very first card was a Journey Rewards Visa that I PC'd to Quicksilver Visa then to Venture Visa Siggy over the course of having the account. Did you try to for a CLI yet? If I remember correctly, my Journey was at $750 when I PC'd to QS. I recieved a CLI of $1500 when I asked after the conversion.
Edited: I got lost in my train of thought and forgot to say CONGRATS!!!
Start getting new cards and that $500 won't mean anything to you.
My lowest cards are US Bank Cash Rewards (300) and discover (750). I really don't care because I have other cards I would much rather use than those
However, I still use them in hopes of getting a cli.

I also had a journey too and PC'd to QS within a month. Also doubled my CL within 4 months I believe so keep staying patient and put all of your spend through that card!!!
