Capital One New Credit Card Restricted?

I logged into Capital One this morning to pay a bill and noticed my new Venture Visa says account restrcited? And the available credit has been subracted from credit?

I just got an email on Saturday informing me that my new card has been shipped. Maybe its a fraud thing? Im going to wait till I get my card and then call. They havent called me.

Just call them and ask them what the restriction is about.  This happened to me with one of my cards - they wanted to make sure that it was really me opening the account (I did a back-to-back with Venture and QS).  The Venture was fine but the QS was restricted.  One 2 minute call and a couple of verification questions later I was good to go when the card arrived.

Account no longer restricted! called in, they had go through like 8 verification questions and unlocked the account. Now everything is back to normal!
