I use these at least once a year. I've used them for balance transfers, home improvements and even for Lasik once. Pretty straigt forward, eithe transfer online or fill out and present or mail the check. I have only ever had 12 month terms. 18 months would be sweeter. depending on the total amount utilized, the 3% fee is nothing compared to interest and add great peace of mind knowing i can pay over time leveraging my cash elsewhere. Never tried to deposit or get cash from it thoug.. never really had a need.
