When I started my credit rebuilding project in June, I was only pre-qualified for secured cards. I had FICO's in the mid 500's and had 7 derogs on CR's. After getting half of them removed I was pre-qualified for a Capital One Rewards card with 300CL. Today, after fighting with EOS for the entire day trying to get them to PFD (I am yet to succeed), I checked to see if I can be pre-q-ed for another card.I tried AMEX and Discover and did not find any offers. I then found an offer for Capital One Platinum card and applied. Bam and I got another card with $1000CL. I know its not the best card, but at this point I can't be picky. Ironically, I have a judgement on CR for Capital One that I am trying to get set aside... In any event, grats me. Thanks you September.
Good job! Time for some gardening, now...
What is "gardening"? I see it here now and then but have no idea what it means... haha
Ah I see. Thanks!
Question, is Capital 1 still pull all 3 credit report
They did with my first card. With this one, I am not sure yet. I will let you know as soon as I see the hard inq on my reports.
Yes, you can count on 3 hard pulls.............1 on each bureau. Congrats on your approval.
Yep, checked today. Hard hit on each of the 3.
Jesus, a 1000CL is high for a Cap 1 platinum. I got a whopping $300 and now it's up to $500.
