Hello,
I read some reviews online where people are claiming that they PCed the cap one plat to a QS visa. Is this possible given the plat is a MC? I spoke with a rep online and I was told the plat will only PC to a no AF MC since the plat runs on the MC network.
Any thoughts?
You can PC to a QS, but it will be a Mastercard QS.
I have a Mastercard QS sitting in my wallet at this very moment.
If you PCed to the QS MC, does it have an AF?

I'm not certain about the QS Visa but I PC'd mine from Platinum to QS MC after 2nd statement cut, no AF.

No, it does not have an AF.

Just call and ask if your account is eligible for an upgrade, and if so find out what's available to you.
My CapOne Platinum MC from 2003, no AF, was PD'd to a QS WMC last year, everything remained the same except the inprovement to WMC and boost to 1.5% earnings.
Here is what I did...
Had a Cap1 plat MC, upgraded that to QS MC. Shortly thereafter I applied for QS VISA and was approved. Then I did the account combo and rolled the MC into the VISA.
I have a Capital One Platinum MC and Capital One QuickSilver One... Forgive me for spelling out, but I'm slowly learning all this credit forum jargon and acronyms.... They are both low limit cards as I am in a rebuilding phase. Should I eventually look for better products with Capital One? How long should I wait? And which products should I be looking to change each too after some time?
Just a lil bit of info: my credit is shot to pieces, scores are ranging from low 400's and mid 500 TransUnion. These are my first credit cards. I blew my credit with late auto loan payments and student loan neglect. So, I know at this time I am not in a position to be asking for much more than what Capital One has offered.
