Has Capital One did this to anybody else? They finally reported my new card on August 6th to All 3 CBA and I had a $0 balance then I get an alert this morning saying one of my account balances increased....WTH I thought so I check and C1 reported my balance of $167! Why would they do this mid-cycle? I lost 14 freaking points

I lost 3 points in the same way. They are a ridiculous CC company.

Might seem like a pain but unless you are applying for credit this month it shouldn't really mean anything to you

Unless you were planning on apping for credit this month and needed to have the best score possible. Reporting a balance is a non issue.

14 points seem like a whole lot for 167.00! That's downright scary.

I get that part but when you are rebuilding credit any downward score fall is not going for the moral lol. Hopefully I will gain it all back
