Since this was your first card, I would recommend you keep it. My oldest credit card is capital one and all my credit increases come from me reaching out the the Executive office. A frew months agao my Limit was raised and I PC to the Quicksilver card.

Can I just call and say hey can you just give me the QS card and swap it out. That way I get the better card, I keep my five years with them on my CR but don't have to actually "add" another Cap One to my wallet.

Yes.  Just ask if you can PC (product change) your current card to the QS.

Success! Upgraded, no AF and lowered my APR to 13%.

Does anyone actually know what is the limit Max on a QS card ? Great, dandy it's now converted to a better card but will they give me the okie dole and still not raise my credit limit ? Or am I having the Cap One paranoia ?
