Re: Capital One Venture

Hopefully they'll roll those metal cards out soon. Ive said this before and I don't know if you saw it, but I spoke with a cap 1 rep via chat and they said that supposedly that option was coming in the near future. But no further info.

Re: Capital One Venture

Indeed the metal Ventures are shipping.

My family is all high on Venture so I've seen no less than 10 metal Ventures arriving in the mail last couple of days from 2nd/3rd Venture apps ...all metal cards...not a single plastic one among the lot.

My own Metal Venture came in the mail last week as well.  Not as heavy as the Ritz Carlton.  Slightly heavier than the Sapphire and looks better.  Plastic wrap/Metal core Sapphire looks cheap after a month or 2 of daily use.

Re: Capital One Venture

How do you dispose of a metal card since you can't shred it?

Lol...good point

I suppose you could just put a screwdriver to it and scratch the hell out of it.  Then fold the Venture a couple of times back and forth and the metal will snap apart.

Ritz is a much beefier card though, you'd probably need pliers to snap it.

I was  approved for Venture one last night. I just called CSR and requested for metal card. They confirmed to me that it'll be metal. I'll update about it once I receive it.

My new Venture one is in the mail.......this gives me hope that I might get a metal one!  I'll be doing a happy dance!

When I opened a small business I remember the first time I saw a metal card, I've always wanted one since that moment.

I assume they will do what Chase does with the CSP. Send you an enevelope and you mail the metal card back to them for disposal.

Re: Capital One Venture

I take it the metal cards are only being sent out on brand new accounts vs to current card holders? This is a shame because I just got a replacement card like two months ago to get one with the chip in it.

Re: Capital One Venture

To those getting metal Ventures, are they really Ventures (regular one with AF) or are they Venture ONEs?
