Capital One and new reporting

So had a Capital One Card that was included in my Ch 13.  I dismissed my Ch. 13 a bit ago and recently Capital one went back and took the "Included in Bankruptcy" off the account on my credit and re-reported last month of this year as charged off bad debt which really hurt my credit.  She said I could pay it and they would report it paid in full but they would not remove the remark charged off bad debt.  Would paying it and still having it report charged off really help me gain anymore points?  The one benefit I'm thinking is maybe if I pay it, I would then qualify for a new account since they would not be out any money anymore?
