Re: Capital One credit limit increases

Congratulations OP

I must say that Capital One has been acting a little out of character of late. I've seen quite a handful of posts on this forum of individuals getting CLIs or PCs on request from Capital One. Maybe, just maybe......

Re: Capital One credit limit increases

Hi,

I just want to add to the fact that I got a $1,000 just recently as well (Sep 14 to be exact.). I've paid my cc bill on time and more than twice a month. I also noticed I had a "document" to review and turns out it was an electronic letter stating that becuase they liked me, they were giving me a $1,000 CL increase. So, yes, I thought it was a joke, the steps program stated $500 CL inc. but no, I got $1,000.

For the record, I have 630 score and was approved for a $500 limit. Also I have OrchardBank with a lousy $300. (I hope they do it with O.B as well, same company after all)

Re: Capital One credit limit increases

I was given a 300 dollar credit limit when I applied, and after 6 months they gave me a 2000 CLI to 2300.

Re: Capital One credit limit increases

I started with a $2000 limit on the Cash Rewards card back in July and it was increased to $2500 in Feb. I have earned $140 cash back on that card so far. I was also approved for the BB store card (backed by Cap1...soon to be Citi) with $2500 CL and no AF. I have an Orchard Bank card siting at $1100 since 2011. I use my Cap1 Cash Rewards and Chase Freedom card for 90% of my monthly expenses. My Orchard Bank card is in the process of being SD.
