Sooooo I got the luv button on my cap1 and was denied - only reason? "Based on your report your credit score is too low for a cli at this time". Score pulled: 704!?! I recall getting big CLI from them with scores under 640 not long ago.
My partner got the same message with a score of 723!!!!! Something seems way off. What is their CLI hreshold now? 800?? It's funny how Cap1 seems to go between being super sub prime in their approvals to being harder than CHASE or Barcaly.
Any similar stories? My last CLI was in March.
Same with me. They used to give me CLI's regularly. During past year I keep getting denied for score too low. Score was mostly in neighborhood of 695 on FICO 5 EQ.

Your Siggy shows $23k overall with CapOne?
My suggestion is your cards are at their limit for CLI. The sky is not the limit on CapOne CLI requests.
If you app a new CapOne card, likely will see a good new limit.

Your and your partner's CLs are fairly high. It's possible they meant you don't meet the score thresholds to increase your limits above those levels. This would be consistent with them giving CLIs to people with lower scores but also lower limits.
My thought exactly. It may be that your score doesn't meet their standards for an increase, but that's based on your current credit limit, income, and overall profile. So for example you probably COULD get a CLI with the exact same score if your limit was half its current level and/or if your income was 20K higher or something. I'm sure it's score based on current limit and income.
