Capital One not consolidating accounts

Recently got a pre-approved offer for a Capital One card and accepted. Pretty straightforward. However when I asked about consolidating the accounts I was told they no longer do such a thing. Called back and spoke with a second rep whom said the same thing but said that due to the new credit revisions they are not currently offering credit line increases or consolidations. Has anyone heard otherwise?

They don't do it anymore-period. I tried several times...called backdoor numbers..nothing.
