Honest question: Why would you waste three (!!!) more inquiries to get yet another capital one card? If you get one card and then wait 3-6 months and get another, you will have a whopping SIX inquiries on your CRs. And for what? Two subprime cards?
Wouldn't it be in your best interest to use the capital one card for what it's largely intended for: a stepping stone to prime cards?
I'm a Cap1 holder...and I have had nothing but good experiences with Cap1.
Have to agree whole-hearted with you, Wesley23.
(I have to add...since my scores started to creep back up that I can't stand the thought of a new account or inquiry now. (Didn't think that way several months ago!)
I had all kinds of bad words to say about caap one when they didn't report CL's or give me CLI's-
They have been an entirely different company in the last year for me.
I've heard 45 days between apps as well.
Well, Cap1 has some Prime cards (but does primarily seem to cater to the sub-prime market), so I'd hardly call them a stepping stone CCC, entirely. And at least they're not CLD'ing everyone at the drop of a hat like some *other* supposedly Prime CCC who shall remain nameless. Plus, it seems Chase has now adopted Cap1's strategy of telling people requesting CLIs to app for another card instead. So, maybe they're moving up (errr...or maybe Chase is moving down?).
Still...on the neg side...3 hards for a new Cap1 card is very tough to swallow.
