Capital One upgrade offer?

My wife recently received an email from Capital One offering to upgrade her Visa to a Quicksilver card via upgrade link.  She has a really old (2002) Cap One card with no AF..  My question is, does she still keep the AAOA if she upgrades?

Pretty sure she'd keep everything the same. she would essentially just be PCing to a newer card. But I'm bumping this for more experienced members to weigh in.

And then she should immediately go to the pre-qualify site and check for Venture...

Absolutely...that's the great thing about an upgrade/PC!   My Platinum upgraded to a QS1 and then a regular QS.   I've maintained my account number and my history this whole time.

No, and it also is not a hard pull to check the pre-qualify site either...
