In general, most new credit cards do not show up until after they have generated the first statement plus how ever long it takes them to update that information with the Credit Agencies (usually a couple of business days).
Now, like you I got a new Capitol One CC at the beginning of this month. They generated my new statement on the 18th so the comment about it being updated on the 25th makes sense for this statement date. However, I have no intention of paying to find out since I've already paid for my credit report this month. My assumption is that it will be there when I check next month.
