Does Capital One have memory of old charge off accounts? Had 2 cards 10 years ago that I stopped paying on.
Cap1 bought out my old credit card and although I now have established a decent credit history they don't seem to
Want to budge on any CLI. Are they viewing my old derogatory accounts?
Thanks
I think all banks have infinite memory, however they know people's financial situations in life can change. The best way to find out what they think of you is to apply. Sorry, I know this isn't much information. Best of luck on your application.
Cap1 is very forgiving of bad CO with them.... The have a very very short memory
Nixon,
I agree it all depends on your over all credit profile. It specifically states on their website that any deliquency on your cr they are not likely to give out credit line increases.
