ok there is the update they combined the account to the one with the lower APR and *bleeping* AF. They did not give me an CLI which i am ok with. at least i will have one bill from CAP1. So now my my credit as follows: (do not yell at me MODS)
The backdoor number is definately useful. I called today and combined the new card ($750 CL, 0AF, 0% APR until Oct 2009) with the old card ($1100 CL, 39AF, 14.15% APR).
So I got rid of the AF and have a pretty good interest rate for the next year and I think after that it is still 12-13%.
They say it takes up to 14 business days for the process to be completed then I would get a confirmation in the mail....

Yeah, their CS Reps are definitely not happy-campers.
DH combined his 2 Cap1 cards last night, and the guy was just rude.
