Depending on your usage and other account and credit factors, the credit steps increase can be larger than what was originally. However, I've read some threads where people are saying capital one is tightening up on CLI. While others have stated they got larger increases. So, YMMV.

$500 Credit Steps increase on 6th statement

My husband:
October '16, Approved $300 SL
$100 pre-Credit Steps increase
$350 Credit Steps increase on 6th statement
$750 Current CL
