It will likely be a $200 increase, exactly as stated - so in your case $400 to $600 (YMMV)

Depending on your usage and other account and credit factors, the credit steps increase can be larger than what was originally. However, I've read some threads where people are saying capital one is tightening up on CLI. While others have stated they got larger increases. So, YMMV.

Yeah I'll keep my fingers crossed and pushing all my spend through it that I can then PIF of course. I'll take whatever I can get in a few months.

It does seem like capital one have tightened their CL increases ... guess I missed the good days where they'd hand out $3000+ Credit step increases .. but we shall see what happens... Aduke! Let me know how increase goes ... how much was ur SL anyway?

Mine was only 300 , fiancé has one that started at 500 he got a 100 CLI at his 3rd statement cut .. we only opened ours about two weeks apart .. he is due to get his credit steps any day now

I have two sets of data points for you:

 

Me:

June '16, Approved $3000 SL

$300 pre-Credit Steps increase

$500 Credit Steps increase on 6th statement

$3800 Current CL

 

My husband:

October '16, Approved $300 SL

$100 pre-Credit Steps increase

$350 Credit Steps increase on 6th statement

$750 Current CL
