Re: Capital one email transition of HSBC

I just got the same email. I immediatly jumped on the phone to call them. Turns out they will not remove the rewards the E.O added for me earlier in the month and will not change my af from $19 (HSBC) to whatever the QSO is ($39).

Re: Capital one email transition of HSBC

Ok good was wondering about them raising my annual fee. I going to email the EO about removing my annual fee else I'm going to close the card. Limit started at 320 in 2010 increase to 420 with a HP in 2012. Card only use for iTunes purchases because of the limit.

Might as well ask for a CLI while you're at it. I went from $400 to $1000 (I asked for $2000) - with a soft pull at that. They credited the AF in another call I made to them earlier this year.

DH got his email. He hadn't even paid much attention to the new terms. Better than the 1% he had.

Re: Capital one email transition of HSBC

Got the same letter via email 2 days ago. Actually tried for 2 1/2 weeks with EO and FB to get PC'ed to a QSO and they told me it wasn't eligible. A nice surprise to see that email it was upgraded.

Re: Capital one email transition of HSBC

My HSBC card turned into a Platinum. I wonder if that's because it was an Orchard?

No such upgrade emails in my inbox.
