Capital one letter

Sorry if this is a repost

Has anyone receive a letter from Cap1 with checks Reds and blues?

The Red ones (one is filled out for me to deposit) are for making purchases at current purchasing rate. The Blues are for balance transfers at 3.99% APR. In the fine print 3 % of each check or transferred balance amount or $50 per transaction, whichever is less. Also APR can be increased if payment is late twice in 12 months.

I think this is going to the shedder. After all these i had to combine my Cap1 cards to get a higher balance with them. Now that i paid the balance to zero they come with this. I think not.

I used one when I needed some cash and paid it off before the statement.  It was 4000.00 and cost me 2.05.

Re: Capital one letter

I've had them remove me from the list 4 times now, and I still get them every month. I shred them.

Re: Capital one letter

I don't in any way mean anything mean by this comment. But I'm not sure what the original poster's point is. Are you concerned that there is some catch hidden in the fine print ?

I've been receiving offers like these from Capital One for years, and I've many times used one or the other type of offer through calling the balance transfer phone number and setting up one or more balance transfers through an agent. There's no catch, and personally these offers have many times come at moments where I've needed an offer like this to keep my head above water during whatever events that I was weathering. Especially compared to balance transfer terms today from the other big banks, these Capital One BT terms and conditions are very competitive and money-saving.

There are a lot of things I intensely dislike about Capital One, but I haven't yet found anything bad about these Capital One BT offers.

Re: Capital one letter

I totally agree. Sometimes they come in very handy and they are convenient to transfer balances etc.
