Capitalone PC

I have no interest in this card whatsoever but fiancé has an old capital one card that he's looking to PC. Ideally, I would rather him have a venture because we don't have one and I already have two quicksilvers. Say he PC'd to the venture and then next year decided it wasn't worth the AF. Would he be able to PC it back to quicksilver? Do they allow you to PC every 6 months like CLI? Hes not worried about a bonus either..just something to use as an everyday card when he doesn't have access to mine.

Re: Capitalone PC

Why not just PC right to Quicksilver? Venture is going to require travel spend to redeem. Or, just keep the 1% card and don't worry about it. Nothing wrong with a 1% card if he's not into spending 10 hours a week trying to maximize an extra $100 in cash back per year.

Re: Capitalone PC

Because I already have two quicksilvers. He said he wanted something else..told him about the AF, only redeemable for travel and giftcards. He said it's not a big deal. Plus he travels without me sometimes and I would rather use our miles/points we have saved up for our family vacations. I don't think the capital one card even earns 1%. Hes already apped for two airline cards this year once we will be canceling and the other we will probably keep. He actually likes Cap 1 (blech).
