I plan to use my BCE card for gas this quarter just have to remember gas stations seem to put a $100 hold on the account although have plenty available, what is everyone else using for Gas this quarter?
Running the Everyday Preferred for gas this quarter, 3x MR provided I meet my 30 transactions per month which works for me.
Sallie Mae MC or Amex TrueEarnings for gas at Costco

For me here it seems like its only shell stations that do the 100 dollar hold thing when you use your cc to pay. For that reason alone i don't go to shell stations to fill up. The other gas stations in this area usually just do an hold of 1 dollar. As far as which card i am going to use for filling up gas. I may just rotate my BCP and TE cards. They both get 3% on gas. I want to use my TE card some since it hasn't been getting much use since Discover and Freedom both had 5 % off on restaurants and gasoline the first quarter.

Discover It for 5%
Did you get a special invite or something to get 5% for gas?
PenFed CashRewards for 5%.
using my sallie mae world mastercard (5% for $250 per month). i use it for quarters that my freedom isn't on gas rotation.
curious about your Discover as well. couldve sworn that discover was on home improvement, furniture stores, etc.
Using my BCP for 3%.
Quarters like this where the Freedom and IT cards are borderline the same thing tempt me to app for the Sallie Mae card. I have no use for these home improvement categories at all.
