Card selection input needed

Hey everyone, looking for some input for my gf. She is 25, and only has 1 card that she has had since she was 18-19. She is looking to get 1-2 new cards an I was hoping for some ideas on the best ones currently available. She has good history, no baddies, scores all 730-745. Annual income about 65k. She would like something to accumulate airline miles, but I wasn't sure what was currently out there for that, and whether or not it would be better than just a cash back card. Any input or thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks!

Re: Card selection input needed

I would reccomend the CSP or American Express (Everyday - Blue Cash - PRG)

Re: Card selection input needed

You said airline miles, but you can't go wrong with a Sallie Mae for Cashback. 5% on groceries (up to $250/m), 5% on gas (up to $250/m), and 5% on bookstores (includes Amazon; up to $750/m).

For earning travel points, the Chase Sapphire Preferred and Freedom combo is kinda popular I think.
QuickSilver - $20,000 | Amex ED $12,000 | Commence $5,000 | IT $2,200 | Freedom $2,000

Re: Card selection input needed

If she spends a lot go for the CSP with the chase freedom combo but her spend would have to justify the $95 annual fee

Amex Blue Cash Everyday: $25,000 | Navy FCU Cash Rewards: $25,000 | Discover It: $20,500
Chase Freedom: $12,500 | Citi Double Cash: $10,000 | Bank of America Cash Rewards: $8,000

Really wish I could get my hands on the Sallie Mae Barlaycard or the Barlcaycard Rewards, personally. the 5% cash back on groceries, gas and utilities would be great!
