Card with no balance but it's negative on all three credit reports?

I'm so confused!

I just pulled all three of my reports to find a credit card, which was paid in full five years ago, listed as negative on my credit report. What's going on here and how do I fix it and and get it off my reports?

Thanks so much for your reponses! I'm new, and obviously confused!

Did this card ever have any late payments? Did you pay it off or was it a charge off? Both will report a zero balance.

09/03/2009 TU: 777, EQ: 776 ($8 balance on an account dropped me out of 780's)

I paid this in full five years ago, in 2003 and never had any late payments.

What should I do? Close the account?

did you ever lose the credit card and report it lost or stolen? I lost a card once and had it replaced from the bank and I noticed there was a "potentially negative account" email sent to me from freecreditreport.com and it was due to the credit card that was lost/stolen. Not sure how or why that would be negative information, but I called the bank and chewed someone a new one, and they fixed it.

I would give the bank a call if you haven't done so already..
