Wells fargo does a member since date on their cards too. I got excited at first because i thought "omg they do backdating" but was disappointed when i found out they didnt.

Citi has a member since date on some (all?) of their cards as well. It doesn't really do much, except perhaps give you some leverage when dealing with customer service.
