Is there a list of credit cards that blacklist? I'm going to be interested in AMEX and maybe Chase in the future but I had significant balances with them when I filed for Bk in '09. I'd realy like to get another Skymiles card. I'm starting to get low on miles.
Both AMEX and Chase blacklist long after your bk is off your file.
I guess there goes my chances of getting another Delta Sky Miles card. I think I applied for a Citi card in the last year and was declined.

I know personally that American Express blacklists. I closed my AmEx years before my bankruptcy and was declined due to bankruptcy. From what I've read here, Chase and Citi are not bk friendly.
Were you declined after the BK came off your record? I can understand Amex declining for a recent bankruptcy or if they were burned by someone before, but if their card was closed out years before a bankruptcy occured and then reapplied for years after a bankruptcy I am not sure what their issue is.
Bank of America. I didn't screw them but a company they acquired years ago after my bancruptcy but they still won't give me a card.
My bankruptcy was discharged in February 2012. I closed my AmEx years before my filing. When I went to apply for a new AmEx, it was declined due to my bankruptcy. I even called in to recon and was shot down.

Oh so its recent so you may be able to get back in with amex down the line once time has passed.
I'm not doing any more app'ing until Feb 14' but I'd be curious personally to know if Capital One does. I had 3 seperate (3 diff. cards) public collections with them as late as 2009.All 3 have been paid off for quite some time.

Nope. I had a couple of Cap1 cards that were part of my BK. Now I have $5k in credit with them. Had to start small with a secured card and work my way up.
