Chase does report AUs.  I know this firsthand.

Wells Fargo also reports AUs, and even makes a point of stating this in mailings I've received from them:

"Information on authorized users

  • Please note that we report authorized users on our customers' credit card accounts to the major credit bureaus
  • Any authorized user on your account will now be reported as a user, but not as an individual responsible for paying the balance"

Hope this helps!  Smiley Happy

Re: Cards That Report Authorized Users

someone just mentioned that BBRZ report but i don't thnk so.  I just tried to add my son as an AU but they didn't ask for a SS# so I cancelled the request.  How could they report without a SS#?  Also, when you input the name it forces your to choose either Jr., Sr., II or III. Can someone please verify that BBRZ MC actually does report AU's?

"How could they report without a SS#?"

The same way Chase reports; by name and address.

As one poster said they match names and addresses. I don't know how that works exactly but it does. I've never has to choose Jr., Sr., etc. on an AU request I've done. Perhaps that's a quirk of BBRZ.

No offense, but I don't know what you don't understand about this. I am an AU on my fiancees (hence differing last names as well as differing addresses) Best Buy Rewards MC (an HSBC product).

She was approved a week before I was and I am an AU on her card and her card shows up on my reports (and we haven't even USED the card yet) as such (Experian.com):

Re: Cards That Report Authorized Users

Please take note of the responsibilty field above as "Authorized User".  I am only speaking on cards to which I have and have direct experience. Not hearsay.

Re: Cards That Report Authorized Users

The GEMB cards I have report AU's as well; I'm not sure if they all do, but Wal-mart and Amazon are reporting my on my DH's.  GEMB does not ask for SSN either when adding AU's.
