Care Credit change to Credit Card??

Has anyone tried to change their Care Credit to a regular credit card? I have had mine for almost 2 years for a LASIK surgery. I will never use this card for anything else and I wondered if GEMB would change? Thanks!!

I don't think you will have any luck...but always worth a try.  The worst they can say is no.  But I doubt it.

Care Credit is a strange animal.  It's not a store card , per se, but it's not a bank card either.  FWIW, I have never heard of anyone converting a Care Credit card into an other GEMB issued card.

It's not just for LASIK, btw.  Do you have any pets?  You can use it at a lot of veterinary offices.  Dentists, too.

I do have teeth and a dog so I guess it has some uses. I would just like to have an equal card that could be used everywhere. Any suggestions on how to convert?

I really doubt it can be done, unfortunately.  Never hurts to call and ask, though.  Good luck!
