Care Credit is a strange animal. It's not a store card , per se, but it's not a bank card either. FWIW, I have never heard of anyone converting a Care Credit card into an other GEMB issued card.

It's not just for LASIK, btw. Do you have any pets? You can use it at a lot of veterinary offices. Dentists, too.
