How easily does Care Credit approve credit cards for medical expenses? I'm needing a new crown and deep cleaning of a tooth where an old crown has a gap and is causing a lot of inflammation. Estimate is $1400 after insurance. I've also been wanting to get Invisalign to straighten my top teeth. I've been told I was a candidate. Does anyone know what Care Credit's approval terms are such as base credit score for approval, etc? Thanks!
IMO pretty easy, the only thing is the limit if its not high enough can be an issue on trying to raise it. I haven't had any success in getting mine raised when i initially got mine.

How much were you approved for and what scores did you have? Just curious.
I think it's pretty easy to get, question is how much will you get. I got approved for $10k
Not sure exactly, but....they pull Transunion nearly exclusively.
What is your TU FICO? I checked a database & folks around 700 got ballpark 1k but a bunch of folks called for recon & got 3500 to 6k roughly.
Not totally clean files either.
I love mine...I use it at dentist, eye doc & my kitties vet! Sitting with an 18k limit too!

I don't remember my scores at the time but i got a $500 limit, i asked for more and got denied. DH Applied with like 3 90 day old baddies that are over 6 years old and got $1200. His score was 659 TU.
Sister applied with a Thin file and TU 690 Score and got $4000
We had a vet bill which is why we applied. We all ended up applying due to the estimate being 5-6k but ended up just under the 4k.
When I applied at my dentist's office, I was approved for $2000. My TU score was ~670 at that point. About a month later, I saw that Care Credit SPed me and I was able to get an SP CLI to $10,200
Scores | 2013-09-21 | Current |
Equifax | 630 (LP) | 755 (CK)/749 (Quizzle) |
Experian | 640 (FCR) | FICO 707 (Amex) |
TransUnion | 588 (CK) | FICO 754 (Barclaycard) |

Who did you call to get the SP CLI? The number on the card?
