CareCredit Approved

I just applied for carecredit i put 1500.00 and was instantly approved but I wanted more, can anyone tell me how do I go aboput asking for a credit line increase, I need about 3500 more, do you think they will approve me?

Just call in the customer service number and ask. I would aim high when asking for a CLI. GE will always counter offer if needed. I have this card with a 12k cl and my mothers is 20k. Also congrats on your new card!

The service provider (Doctor, Dentist, etc.) can usually get you a overide for a credit increase. Becareful, as this is a GE Money Bank card, and 1 30 day late will put you in loan shark territory!

Hi

I appllied this week, asked for 5000 and got 3000. I figure with dental insurance paying 75% of bill 3000 will be enough, plus I figure there will be a cli at some point in the future after usage and timely payments .

Excuse me asking but how did your credit file look like for example credit ratio balances history of lates highest credit card limit sorry for asking so much

YES, Call Monday... they post a number usually towards bottom of that approval saying if this is not enough please call us! and don't just ask for $3500 ask for like $10k... they will counter.

I have 2 paid CO's, SL 90 days late 23 months ago, state tax lien, and 3 paid judgements showing. No lates on anything for 23 months. I do have a good income level though. My highest other card is Barclay Apple at 1300 and Firestone credit at 1400. I am at 20% usage on all lines. Hope this helps.

Your credit profile seems quite similar to mine i have 1 paid chargeoff and 1 90 days late from 2 years ago and many inquiries due to car app. I will call first thing on monday and let everyone know how it went. Will aim high at 10k and will keep my fingers crossed
