Does anyone know what's the lower score to qualify for this card? who's the provider? which CRA does it pull? and are they BK ('09) friendly?
Thanks!

Carecredit is managed by GEMB. They pulled EQ for me when I applied.. They are BK friendly, I was 3 years post BK when I applied. I don't remember what my scores were in September (when I applied) but I will guess probably around 670 on EQ.
What is your credit situation like? Do you have any baddies post BK? They are known to be fairly generous and not as strict with credit requirements like other banks. Just be sure to call as soon as you are approved and ask for a CLI. I wish I had done that but now my CL is probably stuck where it is since they don't do CLI without a hard pull.

A family member will be the one opening the CC for his dental work. Would you suggest to pick a HIGH CL (just in case) at the time of the application? or do they confirm the actual amount with the dentist provider? I'm not sure what his EQ score is, but he did file for BK in 2009 (I believe Ch. 7) I don't know if that makes a difference with Ch. 13.

I filed a Chapter 7 and I don't believe it should make any difference with a discharged Chapter 13. I would absolutely have him put in more than required for the procedure in the application. Primarily to help reduce his utilization. I needed about $2500 for my pet's surgery and got a $2700 limit. They usually give you a few days (I think up to 3) to call and ask for a CLI after approval

I was approved with a 632 EQ FICO. Not sure if they are BK friendly. I would say they will pull EQ or TU, GE is not a big EX puller at all.

Thanks LS! do you know if they're inquiry sensitive? cause I believe he might have like 3 or 4 inquiries since January cause he refinanced his two cars (BofA and Wells Fargo refused) but a local credit union that only pulls TU did work!

I work at a veterinary clinic so I put in applications for care credit a lot, we do it right online and get an instant approval or denial. One thing I notice is that if the person applying owns a home, it seems like they always get approved. I have seen approval on renters, but they probably have decent credit.

I had about 15 INQ's (most recent) when they approved me.
